Head of Sales & Business Development

Magine Pro are now looking for an experienced and driven Head of Sales & Business Development with a passion for finding and meeting new prospective clients to onboard to Magine’s OTT Video platform.  As a Head of Sales & Business Development you will be a critical part in Magine’s B2B journey. The mission of the Business Development & Sales team at Magine is to engage prospective clients who wish to launch their own direct to consumer OTT Video service, and offer them the Magine Managed Service OTT product. You will be part of an exciting and rapidly changing industry where innovation and speed is key!

Your responsibilities:

  • Sales of our Magine OTT solutions to prospective clients globally
  • Manage the Sales, BD & Marketing Team (Employees, Consultants & Re-Sellers)
  • Build the Sales AGent & Re-Seller Network
  • Prospect new business and projects, approaching new and existing clients on CxO-level
  • Perform market analysis to identify new verticals and segments to target, customer and competitor analysis
  • Expanding our business with upsell activities for existing clients and developing new opportunities
  • Drive the sales & commercial strategy & given input to the product strategy
  • Leading of the early technical engagement with clients such as identification of technical requirements and scoping of product/service
  • Regular reports on customer interactions, results and project status
  • Account management of client relationships
  • Develop business plans and sales strategy for assigned and prospected segments and clients
  • Work effectively with internal Sales support to ensure required technical, operational and implementation information are specified and priced correctly

What we’re looking for:

  • Must Have Experience
  • 5-10 years of work experience in Leading a Technical Sales Team / Business Development Team or similar.
  • Engineering or Economics University Degree
  • Industry experience - Video Streaming, OTT or similar technology vertical and/or Software Platform / SaaS Business.


  • Interest for the Media and Technology industry. Prior knowledge and experience of working in the OTT Video industry is a merit.
  • Thrive to work in a fast startup environment where priorities can and will change from day to day
  • Strong analytical and entrepreneurial focus, with a deep understanding of client needs and strong will to drive the business forward.
  • Fluency in English. Other European languages are a merit.
  • Experience of interacting with, negotiation, and sales to clients at CxO-level
  • High level of motivation and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Business acumen, with a strategic ability and the drive to achieve tough objectives
  • Ability to work independently in an organised, structured manner in an international business environment
  • An energetic, ambitious and fun person who works great in teams, but also ready drive one’s own initiatives and comfortable working fully independently
  • Ability to plan, structure and drive the commercial model.
